JAVA Manual QA Engineer
Role and Responsibilities:
Write test plans and test cases from product and design specifications
Test case execution and debugging in an agile development environment
Responsible for black box testing following existing test plans
Analyze defect reports and plan testing activities
Qualifications, Experience and Skill Set Requirements
BE / B Tech / MCA in Computer Science from a reputed university with good academic record
4+ yrs of QA / Testing experience in a quality assurance role; willing to be hands on
Experience in testing software products in JAVA/J2EE and Web environment
Experience in testing of distributed server architecture based applications
Hands on experience of testing database applications preferably Oracle-based
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environment and familiarity with software deployment
Good knowledge of SQL scripting and shell, Perl scripting
Excellent knowledge of Internet/Web technologies
Excellent analytical skills
Team player with effective oral and written communication skills
Exposure to full life-cycle commercial product development environment is highly desirable
