The Role
A software engineering position to work within a dynamic team that designs state-of-the-art High Level drivers for the video hardware.
This will bring you into contact with current and future generations of video systems targeted at mobile phones, MediaPlayer and PC based platforms.

Skills
    Drive NextGen Multimedia framework spec and standards.
    Develop platform independent OpenMAX Compliant Device Drivers for Video Decoder and Encoder Cores.
    Integration of the video components into different multimedia frameworks like gStreamer, Android.
    System Programming
    General understanding of hardware/software integration issues

Preferable
    Any experience with video subsystems
    A history of working with low level software and hardware interaction Knowledge of video  system  architecture
    Work with the other teams, including the hardware teams.
    A strong interest in multimedia subsystems
    Spec reading and implementation

Qualifications
    Excellent C programming skills
    Understanding of RTOS and Linux
    'Can do' attitude
    Self starter and hard working
    Good spoken and written English
